ABSTRACT

Research focuses on the relations between innovation cooperation partners, technological innovations and exporting. It is based on the micro data from Community Innovation Survey 2012-2014 for the sample of 98 809 enterprises from 15 European countries. The results of Path Analysis show, that introducing various types of innovation at the same time in the case of exporting does not bring better results than the introduction of only product innovation. The best exporting outcomes are obtained by the enterprises embedded in the local networks, focused on product innovation as an export driver, cooperating at the same time with foreign partners.
